VBS 2025 was a week we will never forget!

Our kids at GEC spent five joy-filled days from July 7-11 exploring the theme "Magnified: Discovering the Bigness of God in the Smallest Things." Each day was full of laughter, learning, and moments that pointed hearts toward Jesus. Together we learned that we are created to magnify God not only in the big, noticeable moments but also in the small, everyday ones.

From the moment the children walked in, they were welcomed with colorful decorations, joyful music, and caring leaders ready to guide them. Through creative crafts, exciting games, heartfelt worship, and engaging Bible stories, the truth of God’s love came alive. We learned about Jesus calming the storm and how His peace is greater than our fears. We also heard the story of the woman at the well and how God sees us, knows us, and loves us no matter our past.

One of the most beautiful parts of the week was seeing children from all different backgrounds join us. Some were already part of our church family, others came because a friend invited them, and several had never heard about Jesus before. It was such a joy to see these kids listening to the good news, asking honest questions, and joining in every activity with so much excitement.

By the end of the week, it was clear that God was moving. You could see it in the friendships that formed, in the songs sung with passion, in the smiles during snack time, and in the quiet moments when children reflected on what they had learned. Seeds of faith were planted and we pray that they will grow and bear fruit for years to come.

VBS 2025 was not just a program or an event. It was a chance for our church to share the love of Jesus with our kids and with our community. We are so thankful for every volunteer, every prayer, and every child that God brought to us this summer.

Celebrating New Life in Christ – Baptism Ceremony (July 27)

Baptized in faith, united in Christ

On July 27, we gathered as a church family to celebrate a beautiful and powerful moment — the baptism of several individuals publicly declaring their faith in Jesus Christ. It was a day filled with worship, and joyful fellowship as we witnessed lives transformed by the power of the gospel.

Each baptism was a reminder of God's grace and the new life we have in Him. We rejoice with those who took this important step in their faith journey and give thanks for the work God is doing in our community.
